A Wonderful Thanks We Received

At last September’s HDSA board meeting, we unanimously voted to fund the acquisition of new body armor for Teller County’s Reserve Deputies. With these brave men and women sacrificing their safety and time to keep the citizens of our county safe, we were very excited to be able to fund the request.

Over this last weekend, I had a surprise waiting for me in my email inbox that really made me feel great to have been able to help. I had a “Thank You” letter from Deputy John “Doc” Williams, Sr. If you follow the TCSO Podcast, you also know him as Doctor John M. Williams, Sr., MD, MPH who donated his time to come talk to us about the COVID-19 vaccine.

Following the receipt of this letter, I also received supporting words from both Reserve Sergeants.
