HDSA Scholarship

HDSA Scholarship for the 2025/2026 school year.

ONLY IN-STATE SCHOOLS ARE ELIGIBLE

Program Philosophy Statement: To carry out our commitment to the honorary members of the association, the Teller County Sheriff’s Office Honorary Deputy Sheriff’s Association established a scholarship program. This effort has as a meaningful expression of the HDSA’s confidence in and respect for education and training. The HDSA considers this an investment in the future and believes that our membership is helping to provide deserving students with an opportunity to make a positive contribution to society as a whole.

The HDSA, through its honorary membership program, will be awarding up to $10,000 in scholarships this academic school year. The HDSA, through its honorary membership program, will be accepting applications through April 11, 2025.

Any permanent legal resident of Teller County who plans to enroll in a vocational training program or institution of higher learning in the state of Colorado as a full-time or part-time student for 2025-2026 school year is eligible. Applicants must reside in Teller County to qualify for the HDSA scholarship.

Applications may be obtained through our website at https://www.tellercountyhdsa.org/ or by contacting the Teller County Sheriff’s Office. They may be typed or handwritten.
